Does it hurt?

Depending on the area treated, you will require approximately 10 injections, which are given via an extremely thin needle to reduce the pain. Some injections you won’t even feel.

How long does it last?

Typically you can expect up to 6 months out of your treatment but results will vary depending on the individual.

How many treatments will I need?

To achieve long lasting results, you will require 2 treatments with a four week interval. Some people will see some results one week after the first session but the best outcomes will be visible 4 weeks after the last visit.

What is the downtime?

You may feel and see small lumps of where the product has been injected but they settle very quickly. As with any aesthetics procedure, its advisable to stay out of extreme heat and avoid touching the area treated.

Is Profhilo instead of filler?

Profhilo is described as “the icing on the cake”. It doesn’t replace toxin or dermal filler as they have their own place, Profhilo enhances the tone and texture of the skin leaving it hydrated and softer looking.

Are there any side effects?

As with any injection, there is a risk of bruising and swelling as well as infection and allergic reaction, vascular occlusion and nerve damage although they are rare, a full consultation will be given before hand.
